Did you ever lose something?  Something BIG?
My daughter and I lost the EIFFEL TOWER on our first visit to Paris. 😉

We had just arrived at our hotel, dumped our suitcases in the room, and took off looking for the famous monument.
We knew it was close.  After all, we were in the 7th arrondissement, and it was only two blocks away.

After 45 minutes of walking, we sat on a bench to check out a map and rest.
I decided to take a picture of my daughter studying the map.

As I looked in the viewfinder I yelled to her……..”Oh no!  Look behind you!”

OH NO! LOOK BEHIND YOU!

 

The lost is now found!  

PS. We did much better finding our way around Paris for the next two weeks!

May you find happiness wherever it blooms today and forever.  Sometimes we look all around for happiness, but instead, it may come as a surprise.  A smile from a stranger, a note or email from someone we haven’t heard from in a long time, a flower blooming by itself in the center of the garden, or the car ahead of us paying our toll.   Happiness can come in many forms.  And when we Give Happiness to others, we also receive the gift back to us. ~

  Good friends who don’t see each other often can pick up right where they left off the last time they met.  They can talk all day about what they’ve missed in each other’s lives.   But sometimes friends don’t need to talk at all.  They often share the same thoughts and feelings anyway.  Just sitting side by side, two good friends can enjoy each other’s company, the scenery, and searching for that elusive cormorant bobbing up and down in the waves of the St. Simons sound!!! 😉

Warmer temperatures……reading outside!

The weather is beautiful right now.  I’m taking advantage of it by grabbing some reading time in my favorite outdoor spot.  It’s a simple front porch glider, but it’s peaceful and quiet and a perfect place to enjoy the latest book.
