I am new to the blogging business, but I know what I love! I love to decorate my home. I love to garden, although it seems as though the weeds grow faster and much thicker than my flowers! I love old recipes and learning new ones, and getting crafty with crafts. And, since I was a little girl in Rochester, N.Y., and my beloved father put a Brownie camera in my hand~I’ve simply adored photography.
I believe in being a life-long learner and I’m still learning. I also believe in decorating on a budget. I’ll try my best to pass on what I’ve learned ~and what I’m still learning~ to you.
I am a happily married Michiganian with two terrific married children and their wonderful spouses. That’s me on the right in the photo, with my daughter.
I was an elementary teacher for decades. Over the years I have enjoyed spinning and weaving, painting, drawing, stamping, Calligraphy, scrapbooking, jewelry making, and Zentangling.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and hearing your ideas too! Welcome!
Very Nice!
Thank you, Norma! The site is under construction, but I have lots of ideas! Thanks for stopping by!
Very cool, Jud…can’t wait to see what develops!

Con
Con~thank you so much. I really appreciate your feedback.
What’s zentangling?
Bon..Zentangling is relaxing and fun, kind of like what we called doodling…but more specific. They use it in elementary schools to help kids focus and bring out creativity too. It can be done from age 5 to 105! I love it.

And very humbled…also. There always are so many wonderful photographs.
Can’t wait to see your future entries and updates!
Thanks Chris! I’ll get on that soon! 😉
Glad I found you via Jakesprinter. Might you be interested in doing a guest blog for me oh elementary school teacher? http://wp.me/p1PaX2-id
Would love it if you said yes, you pick the famous women.
I’m glad you found me too! I like your blog! I’m using today to get back to the bloggers who’ve “liked” my blog…but I’ve not had a chance to get back to them. All I need is time! 😉
I’ve never done a guest blog before. Would a girl in the 60’s be okay? (she did grow up to be a woman!)
The guest blogger can write about any woman that is important to you. You can reach me with you questions/post at woodrup10@yahoo.com

Ah, went to school in Spring Arbor and lived in Lansing for a time.
That is amazing, Lily! Charlotte is about a half hour from Lansing. Spring Arbor is off M-50, on the way to Jackson, I think. The college is there. So that’s not far either! Small world! I love stuff like this! We were practically neighbors! 😉
I was raised in Ont., then went to school (SAC) in MI, then to CA. I sang in Lansing with an organization called Solid Rock Foundation and traveled as a solo with a band called Earthen Vessel. Here of us?
I have a lousy memory…but it sounds sort of familiar. That’s cool! I was raised in NY, moved to Detroit and graduated HS there. Then went to college near here. So I started living in this area after HS. (not sure I want to put the # of years “ago” it was! haha)

Oh my…I think I’ll have to add you to the will for that comment! 😉 Thank you! However…I’m very choosy about which photos are seen by the public! lol. Thanks for your comment about the blog. I have no idea what I’m doing! I hit upon this theme and have stuck with it! I’m ready to make some adjustments, but I do like the basics! I agree…I’m glad we met, too!

Subhan…
You have a great blog! Thank you for your kind words! You are so nice! Have a lovely day too!
I spent part of my growing up years in SE Michigan. Beautiful state, lots of water and trees, two commodities forfeited when moving to Wyoming. Your blog is beautiful Judy. You are a stunning photographer and I look forward to wandering through your posts.
Becky…you are so sweet. Thank you. I remembered you saying you had ties to Michigan. I went to HS in Detroit….but only moved there from New York State at the age of 14. Do you remember Northland Shopping Center in Southfield? That was the BIG shopping place back in the day! I worked at Hudson’s there when I was in HS.
I look forward to your posts, too! I love to see what design and style ideas you have, and, since I love being out west……I look forward to photos and stories from the ranch too!
Judy,
I just honored your great work and creative talent on my facebook page. Much appreciated the reviews and comments!! See http://www.facebook.com/Titaniumphoto
Cheers

Thank you, Todd! I just went to FB to see what you meant! I’m very honored that you mentioned me and my blog! Thanks again!
PS….you do awesome work. I really enjoy seeing your photography, and your accompanying text, and commenting. I wish I had more time to do that, however!
