I tried to find this photo for the challenge and it turned up in my husband’s computer! So here’s my Friendship ll photo!
Though miles may lie between us, we’re never far apart, for friendship doesn’t count the miles, it’s measured by the heart.
~Rozina Hasham
Good friends who don’t see each other often can pick up right where they left off the last time they met. They can talk all day about what they’ve missed in each other’s lives. But sometimes friends don’t need to talk at all. They often share the same thoughts and feelings anyway. Just sitting side by side, two good friends can enjoy each other’s company, the scenery, and searching for that elusive cormorant bobbing up and down in the waves of the St. Simons sound!!! 😉
In friendship,
Judy

Remember the sign that hung on the door of our dorm room in college…you drew it from the book, “A Friend is Someone Who Likes You.” Only the physical distance(in miles) between us changed. Whether e-mailing, talking on the phone or treasuring some actual time together, we are always “togther”!
You bet we are! 😉 Miles don’t change that! Just like in the quote…always together in my heart. Although, as opposed to other years…technology has certainly helped! 😉 Emailing as much as talking!
I couldn’t figure out why that shot wasn’t in my iPhotos! So I posted “the school gals”, and then found this one in dj’s computer! Every other shot of ours is wayyyyy to close-up. 😉 tee hee. xoxo

“Good friends who don’t see each other often can pick up right where they left off the last time they met. ” That is very true, Judy! 🙂 And a nice pic! 🙂
Thank you, Elyas! By the way…I found your page on FB!
Yes, I noticed, Judy! 🙂 Great to see you there! 😀
🙂
The nicest thing about friendship is being able to pick up where we left off! Lovely entry Judy.
Thanks, Madhu!

This is excellent shot to define friendship ,I think more than that 🙂
Thank you. You’re right! Gail and I have been friends for over 45 years! 😉
What a beautiful, apt quote! Lovely picture too. True friends are rare, and precious. 🙂
Thank you, zelmare. They are rare and precious, true!
This is one beautiful, inspiring image with your friend Gail. Family and friends by the beach always bring a sense of happiness we can’t fully describe. It’s like time freezes.
Another nice statement, Island Traveler! “It’s like time freezes.” I like that. Thank you for sharing that.

I love the photo and the angles too… 😉
Thanks, Eliz…I appreciate your comments. When I saw the angle my husband chose….I was very happy too!

Nice shot Judy. Doreen and I often go to a local beach, about 30 minutes drive from home, when we need to make important decisions. Very therapeutic.
I think that sounds perfectly lovely. To have a place by the water where you can go to make decisions…without the household chores around you, just peaceful and calming. Wonderful. *sigh* 😉
I must admit I am not so good at keeping in touch with my friends. But they are always there in my heart, and we know one another very well. Thought-provoking post, Judy!
Oh Bindu…you always have the right words. I feel the same way with some of my friends. Very nicely put. Thank you!
A tender spot is always there in our hearts for friends who are dear.
Touching ….
Thank you, Isadora. ‘Tis so true.
