We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. ~Walt Disney
Got Paint?
All these Parisienne doors need is a little TLC. A can of paint and some brass hardware, perhaps?
Thanks for stopping by.

Different attraction I see in this door Judy ,Good work 🙂
Thank you, Jake!
It has a royal look. My favourite colours for doors are maroon and green.
Oh, great, I got your favorite color! I love to take photos of doors! I thought this pair looked regal, too!
Beautiful door Judy!
Thank you, Madhu! I love to shoot doors. Sometimes I wonder what stories go along with the doors.
Nice post Judy. I wonder what’s behind this green door? Try this blast from the past Judy! I remember this very”Shakey” link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wel1liTYHY0&feature=fvwrel
I’m not sure but I think there could be an expensive apartment behind those doors!;)
Hey! I loved the “Green Door” on youtube! I do remember that song! How fitting for the post! Thanks for your comment and your Shakin’ link!
love the image…but if painted part of its attraction would be lost somehow
Good point, Jo!
I love doors like these. I always wonder what lies behind them. Nice shot. 🙂
oooo we think alike, Zelmare! I like to think of the stories behind the doors. I love to shoot doors and windows that have window boxes. Such charming reminders of trips! Thanks!
I love this photo. I think the fact that its’ aged gives it a historic look. Of course, in a neighborhood with pretty homes they may want to have the owners paint it and give it a nice ornate brass handle. I think the door has character. Great entry for the challenge, Judy.
Have a Blessed day …!!!

Thank you Isadora…someone else said that…don’t paint it. It will lose its character. I thought…that’s true!
The doors are attractive the way they are but I’m a stickler and would be tempted to get out the paint and brush. I love photos of doors. If only they could talk…
Yes indeed! I’m forever thinking of stories of what’s behind them! I have a collage grouping of door photos I took in Florence, Italy. Love to look at them; would love to go back! 😉
